The platform currently has 17 x 24/7 streaming "TV" channels; and 11 radio stations. Tuluntulu is designed to work on mobile devices connected via low bandwidth connections. The “FREE” business model is designed to maximize audience reach and engagement; it can be downloaded for free, usage is free (no subscriptions) -100% free on Wi-Fi, with data costs only if connected via a mobile network (low data TV setting consumes +-50MB / hr.).

Pierre’s career started at the SABC where he held various financial and strategic positions. He was then a founder and key player in setting up a number of media companies including eTV (first commercial free-to-air television in RSA), YFM (largest regional radio station in RSA), Yarona FM (regional radio in Botswana), SANHU (wildlife production company), Phoenix (documentary production company) Three Blind Mice Communications (digital signage) and SA Direct – a company marketing Southern Africa using television (SKY in the UK), and online. The company focused on telling the African story internationally in the Lifestyle & Culture, Travel & Tourism and Commerce genre’s.
In 2011 Tuluntulu was launched with Pierre as its Founder and CEO. Tuluntulu is a mobile streaming platform, and video content company. Tuluntulu has unique technology designed for streaming video to mobile devices in low bandwidth or congested environments.
