Welcome to MEAN, a look at Node.JS, Angular.JS, MongoDB and the things in between

Bradley Greathead (Technical Director), Mybeat Interactive Technologies

, LinkedIn

This talk will aim to give an introduction to the so called MEAN Tech Stack (Node.JS, Angular.JS, Express and MongoDB) as well as a few other tools used in this JavaScript world from the perspective of a bunch of Microsoft .Net Developers who have been embracing the platform for the last 2 years. I'll explore the good, the bad and the ugly elements of this stack and explore the reasons why we chose to go this way instead of using the Microsoft .Net stack, LAMP, J2EE or anything else for that matter.
